Cooking Round the World offers after-school enrichment programs for students pre-school to grade 12. After-school enrichment classes can be as short as two 1 hour classes (back to back) or as long as 2 hours.

Cooking Round the World class looks like.
After-school program consists of making 1 or 2 easy recipes from the country of the day, watching a slide show about the country of the day, then eating what we make. All children receive recipes of the food we cooked that day.
All children participate in the food preparation. We take into consideration food allergies and safety issues which are always of primary concern.
While there are always picky eaters in most classes, we have found that even fussy eaters are more inclined to try new food when they made it!
Cost varies and depends on the number of children in a class (usually no more than 16) and the amount of time of a class.
Cooking Round the World prefers to use your school kitchen with a working stove and oven, a large prep table or two, a sink, and a refrigerator. We are also able to bring our electric cookware and teach in a classroom making it possible to cook without need of a kitchen.
We ask that a school help promote the after-school program, especially if we are new to your school. We have found that new programs can sometimes be looked at with reluctance. We would appreciate you helping to get the word out, especially initially.
We are able to register children online through our web site or provide you with a flyer where families can register by check. We are also agreeable for a school to conduct the registration process.
